According to document eurocontrol-recat-eu-edition-2-0.pdf, allowed values are: CAT A - "Super Heavy" - Aircraft with maximum take-off weight greater than 100 tons and a wingspan from 72- 80 m CAT B - "Upper Heavy" - Aircraft with maximum take-off weight greater than 100 tons and a wingspan from 60-72 m CAT C - "Lower Heavy" - Aircraft with maximum take-off weight greater than 100 tons and a wingspan less than 52 m CAT D - "Upper Medium" - Aircraft with maximum take-off weight less than 100 tons and a wingspan greater than 32 m CAT E - "Lower Medium" - Aircraft with maximum take-off weight less than 100 tons and a wingspan less than 32 m CAT F - "Light" - Aircraft with maximum take-off weight less than 15 tons
According to the ICAO PANS-ATM Doc. 4444, the wake turbulence groups are: 'A' - Aircraft types of 136 000 kg or more, and a wing span less than or equal to 80 m but greater than 74.68 m 'B' - Aircraft types of 136 000 kg or more, and a wing span less than or equal to 74.68 m but greater than 53.34 m 'C' - Aircraft types of 136 000 kg or more, and a wing span less than or equal to 53.34 m but greater than 38.1 m 'D' - Aircraft type less than 136 000 kg but more than 18 600 kg, and wing span less than or equal to 38.1 m and greater than 32 m 'E' - Aircraft types less than 136 000 kg but more than 18 600 kg, and a wing span less than or equal to 32 m but greater than 27.43 m 'F' - Aircraft types less than 136 000 kg but more than 18 600 kg, and a wing span less than or equal to 27.43 m 'G' - Aircraft types of 18 600 kg or less (without wing span criterion)
