Definition | Radiotelephony callsigns are used in communication between pilots and air traffic management. RadioCallsign can be of different types, but all are strings of limited length. Usually the RadioCallsign stay the same during a flight leg, but it can change for a (short) period, typically at the request of an air traffic controller. |
