De-ice Fluid Type

Indicates which de-ice fluid type, including water, that has been used on the relevant aircraft. Each fluid type is specified separately, typically with the volume used.

The following values are to be used:

• "Type 1"

• "Type 2"

• "Type 3"

• "Type 4"

• "Water"

The exact content of the de-icing fluids might vary over time, and between airports.

"Type 1" is typically 80% glycol and 20% water, "Type 2" is typically 50% glycol and 50% water. When reporting volume of DeIceFluidType the water in the product is inclusive. When reporting water usage it is the water used in addition to the water in the products.
