Aircraft Approach Speed ICAO Category

The ICAO-defined category assigned to an Aircraft based on its reference landing speed, used to determine approach sequencing, separation minima, and applicable instrument procedures.

Allowed values are defined by "Skybrary: Approach Speed Categorisation.

• 'A' - Typically a small single engine

• 'B' - Typically a small multi engine

• 'C' - Typically an airline jet

• 'D' - Typically a large jet/military jet

• 'E' - Typically a special military
