The classification of an aircraft’s propulsion engine based on its design and operating principles.

Free text showing the type of engines and optionally model, in use on this Aircraft . E.g. "Turbofan PW308A" would indicate that this Aircraft has Pratt and Whitney 308A turbofan engines.

Recommended values are: 

• "None"

• "Electric"

• "Jet"

• "Piston"

• "Rocket"

• "Turbofan"

• "Turbojet"

• "Turboprop"
