Definition | An operating Airline is the airline that holds a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and actually conducts the Flight—providing the Aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance. In other words, it’s the entity that physically operates the aircraft and is responsible for safety, regulatory compliance, and flight execution. All flight‑related duties, from TakeOff to landing, fall under the operating airline’s jurisdiction. |
